Arkitekture Friday
posted Friday, October 03 by
I went on an architecture web surfing craze this morning. I’d like to see how we can be more inspired by architecture when designing our clothing. When I look at a majestic building and realize that I’m witnessing somebody’s creativity and vision come to fruition it inspires me to do the same in the context we work in. Below are some buildings and future projects that will inspire us at Official to keep pushing boundries and see our visions constructed.

House in Kohoku.
I’ve been in Yokohama and I can’t imagine this house there, next time I’m in that city I have to go by and see it in person.

Paris Pyramid
With the ban on high rise buildings on Paris gone, Herzog & de Meuron designed one of the tallest structures for the french capital, a 180m tall pyramid. The 50 stories tall tower will open in 2014.
Totally Blogable Note: Official announces it’s Parisian flagship store will be in the Herzog & De Meuron pyramid, opening in 2014.

Basque health department headquarters by coll-barreu arquitectos.
Total Gehry bite but I like it. Asymetrical geomety is still cool.

Esplanade theatres, Singapore
The Esplanade theatres really shined(literally) during the Singapore Formula 1 race. This photo really captures the two worlds of Singapore architecture and Formula 1 working together to make beauty.

This Giant W tower is the latest project on the Walter Towers in Prague. By the architects Bjarke Ingels Group.
